Demo Coordinator

Purpose

The Demo Coordinator ensures a smooth and accurate process for facilitating demos for the store. The Demo Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager.Work Environment: Work will primarily be performed in an office and retail environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds safely.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational & scheduling abilities.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing conditions quickly.
  • Willingness to be open to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Be informed about the products at hand so that questions from customers can be easily answered.
  • Be outgoing and eager to engage and interact with customers.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with vendors.
  • Coordinate with vendors + department managers simultaneously to schedule active in-store demos.
  • Build displays of product that are uniform to Elm City Market’s personality and branding. Apply creativity and appeal to your displays to attract the customer’s attention.
  • Willingness and disposition to learn.

Store Operations

  • Partner with department managers to create a demo schedule.
  • Maintain a schedule of demos and communicate that schedule with applicable department managers and others who are involved.
  • Manage the inventory of demo supplies and materials.
  • Complete demo reports + transfer logs to Marketing Manager at the end of each shift.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness of each demo.
  • Collect customer feedback and relay it to the department managers.

Safety

  • Ensure that demo supplies, work areas and storage areas are in clean and orderly condition.
    Be in compliance with safety practices and procedures, both throughout the store and within the department.

Other

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager or MOD.
