Elm City Market | Our Response to Covid-19

We remain open because we believe our role serving the
community is a critical one.

We are taking extra precautions to protect our team members + customers.  

  • All employees are washing their hands and wearing gloves.

  • Cashers are wiping down common areas even more often, + we have hand sanitizer for customers at all registers.

  • We are opening at 9 every morning to support our extra sanitation protocols and allow time to better replenish shelves.

  • We have stepped up our regular cleaning in high-touch + high-traffic areas such as grocery carts, pin pads, door handles, etc.

  • We have closed our seating area and canceled all in store demos, sampling and events.

  • We have temporarily closed our hot soup bar and prepackaged all of our daily soups to reduce the risk of contamination.

  • We have individually wrapped all bagels, muffins + Danish in our pastry case to further reduce the risk of contamination.

  • All teammates who feel even the slightest symptoms of sickness are staying home, and we have implemented procedures recommended by health authorities for those who have traveled or may have been exposed to others whom have traveled.

We are monitoring the status of COVID-19 in real time + making changes as necessary.
