If it seems like there’s not a lot of bright color on your winter table, it’s because you’re not cooking beets. Available in brilliant gold or deep crimson, our organic beets have a sweet, earthy flavor that’s highlighted by simply quartering and roasting them with some olive oil and herbs. Or shred them raw for a fresh, crunchy, colorful slaw. They’re sold with the greens still attached so you know they’re fresh–and those greens are packed with nutrients, making a fabulous addition to soups and sautes.
