Water is essential to life on earth, but only 2.5% of water is suitable for drinking and agriculture. Clean water resources are rapidly declining. Commemorating the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in 1945, and this year’s World Food Day focuses on clean water access. Here are a few ways you can easily conserve and use water wisely:

  1. Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
  2. Take shorter showers and turn off the water while lathering up.
